Plan - seeking God's will

Today's word: James 4:13-17

13Now listen, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money." 14Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. 15Instead, you ought to say, "If it is the Lord's will, we will live and do this or that." 16As it is, you boast and brag. All such boasting is evil. 17Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn't do it, sins.

How about you?
Do you have plans for today? For tomorrow? For next week? Do you make plans without considering God's will for you? He is in control of all that happens, and your plans will some to pass only as He allows them to. Make all your plans with that knowledge in mind.

To memorize: James 4:14
What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes

insya-allah

One of few constants in life is change (God and death being the other two)

Rick Warren of who initiated the Purpose Driven Life said that our time here is like a trial run for eternity....

another constant in life - paying taxes!! ;)

anywayz, interesting to note about `sin of omission', Not doing something good which we as christians ought to do. Many times we concentrate on NOT DOING the wrong thing. We sometimes forget that we're responsible to DO the right things as well!

Having to pay tax means you are earning probably more than many kampung folks... dun complain. Complain if the govt is not using your tax money properly.
