Christians live forever

Today's word: 1 Corinthians 15:51-57

51Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— 52in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. 54When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up in victory."[a]
55"Where, O death, is your victory?
Where, O death, is your sting?"[b] 56The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

How about you?
Do you realize that you don't need to fear death when you have trusted Jesus to be your Savior? Just as the caterpillar turned into a beautiful butterfly, so you will receive a new body that will live forever. Thank God for this wonderful hope.

To memorize: 1 Corinthians 15:52
in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed

Yeah remember the promises the Lord has given us!

And you'll be seeing the folks in your church, cell group... for eternity. So better start be nice to them.

Yeah!!!!

We only need to fear God and no one else. For Christians, death is something that we pass through on to eternal life.Let's be thankful always that we are the children of our awesome God throughJesus Christ our Lord.Yeah!!!

wow...fancy a new body...no more pimples, old scars!!! ... Glory to God

Death is a change of address.

Food for Thot:
Are we willing to go but wanting to stay?
Or
Are we willing to stay and wanting to go?

Good food to chew on. But address c/o God's Mansion sounds simply too great when compared to Luyang, Likas,Inanam,Penampang etc.....

i sent in an article to be published next month in a mag. topic - death. hence there thots....

Oh yes, 'ven'desite,

death for Christians is not the end. It is the prelude to a new beginning. We will all be with our Lord Jesus one day.

Praise and worship songs at my funeral? That will be nice. Dont be sad, just be glad. Our Saviour has conquered death on the Cross.
HALLELUJAH!!!!!!!!!
