Practice the golden rule

Today's word: Luke 6:27-31

27"But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. 29If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic. 30Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. 31Do to others as you would have them do to you.

How about you?
Today's verse is called the Golden Rule. Do you practice it? Do you treat others the way you would like to be treated even if it doesn't seem fair to you? Jesus gave us this rule. Honor Him by obeying it.

To memorize: Luke6:31
Do to others as you would have them do to you

HEY!! This is what my latest blog is talking about!! Yay!!

A pastor gave this point about being a Christian not long ago...

Being Chinese (all Chinese audience), we tend to be very competitive and want to win in many things. Yet being a Christian we are called to lose and let others win sometime. Here's a new attitude for you Christians... be willing to lose (rugi), and you may end up gaining even more. Like Jesus who appeared a loser, bearing the punches and ridicule and shame, yet emerging the biggest winner in the end.
