Don't criticize

Today's word: 1 Thessalonians 5:11-5

11Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. 12Now we ask you, brothers, to respect those who work hard among you, who are over you in the Lord and who admonish you. 13Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other. 14And we urge you, brothers, warn those who are idle, encourage the timid, help the weak, be patient with everyone. 15Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always try to be kind to each other and to everyone else.

How about you?
Do you compliment or criticize? The Bible says to speak evil to no one. Don't tear down- build up instead.

To memorize: Ephesians 4:31
Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice

I just so love this scripture....
this is what I really pray happen in the lives of powerhouse youth. That this be a motto of our lives. We have a youth ministy in SIB LIkas because we want to encourage the youth. This passage teaches us what we are responsible for as christians. We need to look out for our fellow bro & sis in Christ. If they are slack/idle, we need to remind them, encourage those who are down/going thru tough times, be patient with every single person. God has created us unique. sometimes our unique-ness can rub off another person in an irritating way. BUT BE PATIENT. extend EXTRA GRACE to the person! Don't take revenge. But be kind to each other. YOUTHS! - we need to really take this to heart! Lets be accountable to each other.

Hey, youths and young adults of PowerHouse, do take the words of Suz M to heart and make the effort to encourage, uphold and build each other up in our service to the Lord so that His light that is in us can shine forth to others!

We must learn to be kind and helpful to those who are in need. Being caring and compassionate is
what "loving others" all about.

"EMPOWERED TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE" should be our "war cry" in the ongoing battle with forces of darkness, bearing in mind that our Lord Jesus has already won the ultimate victory for us.

If Almighty God is for us, who can be against us? Halle, Hallelujah!
