All of the Bible is important

Today's word: 1 Corinthians 2:9-12

9However, as it is written:
"No eye has seen,
no ear has heard,
no mind has conceived
what God has prepared for those who love him"[a]10but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit.
The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 11For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 12We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us.

How about you?
Do you complain about hard words or hard ideas in the Bible? Some of the Bible is not easy to understand, but all of it is important. Be patient, and you'll develop a taste for the challenging parts of God's word.

To memorize: 1 Corinthians 2:10
God has revealed it to us by his Spirit.
The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God

as requested...i hope the fond is big enough....hehehe

Hi Bob, I didnt request it but it is appreciated anyway. Thank you for taking the trouble to please us. You are doing a great job with the daily devotional. Am sure more ppl reads it than those few of us who posts our comments. C'mon guys and gals, say something, even if is just a few words. Sure Bob and Suz M would love to hear from all of you.

As for me, I am looking forward to the day when people like Shen and Gabriel would come online with their comments.

Meanwhile, "long time no hear" fr.
Adel and Rowena...and Mike too.

sorry wrong spelling...font...and stan, i know u did not requested it...it was from someone who is way younger than u...hehehe

Hmmm... more gentle on the eyes... thanks for the hard work! esp when so busy with the weekend events. MUCH APPRECIATED!

As for the devotional today, that's why the Bible is often called the LIVING Word. One time, you can read a verse and it might not make much sense to you, but the verse before of after is more "interesting" Another time when you read it again, it might speak something of interest and you dwell on it a bit more. And yet another time, when you go back to the same verse, it speaks volumes to you and the situation you are in!

That's why when I read my Sword, I have marker pens and ballpens with me. When a certain passage speaks to me, I will mark it, put a date and some comments on the side of it. It's amazing when you look back and see how God works!

hahahhaa A.Elizabeth..
i also put dates and short comments beside the verses.. etc.

another purple hammer case?

man WHY you chosed purple?? you like purple?

yes, the living Word of God is so interesting. It contains everything
that we need to know about life on earth and how to get to heaven one day. It sustains us in times of tribulations and gives hope and encouragement to troubled hearts and souls.

Through His living Word, God speaks to us individually or sends messages to us. Read your Bible daily and you will come across the heavenly treasures hidden within.

God Bless us all.
