Be a comforter

Today's word: 2 Corinthians 1:3-7

3Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. 5For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. 6If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. 7And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort.

How about you?
Are you as sympathetic with others as you should be? Do you sincerely pray for them? Think of times you've been sick or have any problems. Try to remember little things people did for you which you liked. Give others the same kind of help you experienced.

To memorize: 2 Corinthians 1:4
who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God

That is why we have to face trials and tribulations from time to time --- so that we can relate to and help comfort those who may be experiencing what we have gone through.

To share the love of Jesus with others, we need to have compassion and we learn compassion from having suffered what others are now suffering.

Grief when shared is lessened just as happiness is also multiplied likewise. We should uphold each other and pray for one another.

Everything that happens has a purpose though we may not know it.
That is why this truth from God will help our faith remain strong.

Yes, "tea and sympathy" should be offered to those in need.

We should be thankful, all of us who have experience the love of Jesus, and make the effort to let His love flow to comfort others.

A kind word can bring great comfort
at times. "He who sows kindness gathers love".

What greater love is there than that of our Lord and Saviour?

haha like ven said..
furufurufurufuru

yea.....furufurufurufuru......nice when people comfort you whenever you feeling down.....so, if u know tat it's nice, wouldnt it be great to spread that feeling of love and make others feel like they are loved as well? hehe.. :)
