Trust God to open doors

Today's word: Colossians 4:2-6

2Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart. 3Don't forget to pray for us, too, that God will give us many opportunities to preach about his secret plan--that Christ is also for you Gentiles. That is why I am here in chains. 4Pray that I will proclaim this message as clearly as I should.

5Live wisely among those who are not Christians, and make the most of every opportunity. 6Let your conversation be gracious and effective so that you will have the right answer for everyone.

How about you?
Are you discouraged and ready to give up doing something God wants you to do? Don't quit. Pray about it and trust God to open doors at just the right time.

To memorize: Colossians 4:3
Don't forget to pray for us, too, that God will give us many opportunities to preach about his secret plan

That's right! (Me)
"It's always darkest before dawn" (unknown)
"When God closes a door, He opens a window" (song?)
"And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart." (Galatians 6:9)
Yesssss!!!! Don't stop!

From fishermen to "fishers of men"
Can we try to be like Peter, James and John?

Easier said than done but we can always ask for divine help.

Pray before, during and after casting the net in the market place
and be faithfully positive for a catch.

If the Lord wants us to do something for Him, He will equip us with the means to get the job done. However, it should also be our heart's sincere desire to ask Him to make use of us to spread the good news of salvation.

i like today'w word. to make the most of every opportunity. I pray that I will be more alert to opportunities to express GOd's goodness to me, to show Christ's love to others. I reckon i have let quite a few opportunities slip away. Sad to say, we can't turn back the clock. But I want to look foward. Starting the day with a prayer. The Lord, you show me...open by eyes BIG BIG to see opportunities for me to minister to others! :)
