God is with you

Today's word: Acts 17:24, 27-28

24"The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands.
27
God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. 28'For in him we live and move and have our being.' As some of your own poets have said, 'We are his offspring.'

How about you?
Have you discovered that prayer is even better than a telephone? It takes time for people to come, after you call themon the phone. God, on the other hand, is with you right now, and help is as near as He is. When you feel the need for help, call on Him. He wants you to do that.

To memorize: Isaiah 57:15
"I live in a high and holy place,
but also with him who is contrite and lowly in spirit,
to revive the spirit of the lowly
and to revive the heart of the contrite."

Prayer is our hotline to God.

it is never engaged, (we will always get through.

it will always function (no such thing as out of order)

contact is instant (no delay at all)

All Christians are given a hotline (isn't that great?)

God is Awesome. Hallelujah!!!

Hi Venetia, Yes, it is me.

Who is eulogia??
well, he visited yr site recently.
so you should know by now who he is.... (have you got it yet?)

"eulogia" means "blessings from God". Perhaps the guy humbly hopes to bring blessings to one and all through the help and empowerment of the Holy Spirit.

Oh yeah, you did a great job with the bulleting and the posting of the photos. Well done and keep up the good work. You are certainly a talented child of God. Hip Hip Hip Hurray!

Yes indeed, God is truly Awesome:
awesome in His never-ending love,
awesome in His infinite wisdom,
awesome in His amazing grace,
awesome in His unfailing mercy and
awesome in His almighty power.

And He is our heavenly Father who forgives readily because of His love for us, especially those who proclaims Jesus as Lord and Saviour.

Let us all worship Him in Spirit and in Truth, giving Him all honour and glory that belongs to Him alone.

Let us forever praise and be thankful to our Lord Jesus for the gift of eternal life through the shedding of His precious blood.

Let us be forever grateful for the presence, guidance and protection of the Holy Spirit, welcoming Him
who dwells in us.

May God's abundant blessings be upon us all, esp. those who happen
to read of this and share the same sentiments. Pass on the glad tidings. Good news are meant to be shared. Halle Hallelujah!

Hi there, Adele,

I am really happy to see your posting (your very first if I am not mistaken)and I guess (nay not guess, make that KNOW) that Bobby and Suz will be very happy too.

Yeah, we can just pray any where. Our hotline is better than the latest cellphone models. For instance,no need to recharge battery, (hahahaha).

Have prayed for the rain to stop while waiting at a bus shelter. (it did, just after a couple of minutes)prayed while looking for a parking space, it was right there just waiting for us, (probably, somebody just got an urge to vacate it moments before we came along)

Of course, there are times when we may have to park far far away. Well, maybe God felt that we needed the excercise. (haha, putting on weight eh?) We can also be thankful that we have strong enough legs to help us walk the distance!

Prayer is faith in action! (wow, this thought just came to my mine!)

pastor lee lee's preaching was good last sunday....praying is a very easy thing to do but yet many christian neglect that...

Oh yes, Adele, a hearty Amen to that. It looks like I was mistaken and have missed out on your earlier
postings. Anyway, it is really nice to "hear" your comments.

Yeah, the Igniters young ladies must have shared some terrific events that evening. After all, the young guys were kept waiting for half an hour! (hahaha, plenty of comments re "still not over yet ah!!", "huh, not finished yet??

It is always great to be sharing about the wonderful works of our Father God so next week, you gals be prepared to wait for us guys. Just kidding, we dont mind waiting
again...

[Now that we know what actually happened of course. We thought maybe you gals were slow readers.. (hahaha)]

Someone once said,'prayer is the breath of a Christian'. It keeps u alive.
