Care by sharing

Today's word: Romans 15:1-7

1We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves. 2Each of us should please his neighbor for his good, to build him up. 3For even Christ did not please himself but, as it is written: "The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me."[a] 4For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

5May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, 6so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

7Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.

How about you?
Are you willing to help someone in need even if it means giving something that is very special to you? God was! By sharing with others- sharing your time, your money, your things, your prayers- you cam make their burden a little lighter.

To memorize: Galatians 6:2
Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ

Yes, we should try to accept people as they are. Each of us have our own faults/bad habits and we should help one another whenever we can.

Burdens/loads that are shared are made lighter. Recent example, rearranging tables by oneself is extremely difficult but with others giving a hand, the task was soon completed.

By offering compassion to those with heavy hearts, we can also through the love of Jesus make lighter their grief/sadness.

There is great power in prayer! Ask and it shall be given (if it is in accordance with God's will).

God's blessings be upon us all.

A high calling indeed.

Hi everyone, long time did not post on the devotional. Yep, very important to accept ppl for who they are. Not to judge them. Love them as Jesus love them. Especially the outcasts of society. It's a wonderful feeling to share and give to others. ;) if you haven't tried it yet, it's highly recommended. More blessed to give than to receive. You don't know what u're missing till u tried it....so give today!

Yeah.....sometimes accepting others is sooooo hard! but i guess we have to try our best to love others as they are cos we aren't perfet either and yet God loves us just as we are!

'And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.'

we must try our best to love and accept!

It is not easy to love those that we find irksome and irritating but we need to make the effort if we want to please he Lord.

I know I cannot do it on my own so I will pray that the Holy Spirit will help me with His guidance and bless me with the right attitude to treat others with the love and compassion that Jesus had for me.

To be able to be happily sharing and caring and giving is to be really blessed indeed. This is the type of joy that money cannot buy as it one's heartfelt attitude.

Sadly, I have not achieved this yet but I am making the effort and little by little I know I am making
progress. Praise the Lord.

In some ways we are all incomplete masterpieces arent we?

And yet, we are also masterpieces in our own right currently. That's how the Lord sees us.

To see ourselves through the eyes of Jesus....
To see others through the eyes of Jesus....
