Express thanks to others

Today's word: Luke 17:11-19

11Now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee. 12As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy[a]met him. They stood at a distance 13and called out in a loud voice, "Jesus, Master, have pity on us!"

14When he saw them, he said, "Go, show yourselves to the priests." And as they went, they were cleansed.

15One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. 16He threw himself at Jesus' feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan.

17Jesus asked, "Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? 18Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?" 19Then he said to him, "Rise and go; your faith has made you well."

How about you?
Do you think writing thank-you notes is a boring job? Do you sometimes forget to write them? When Jesus was on earth, He noticed who said thank you and who didn't. Don't assume that everyone knows how thankful you are. Say it. Write it when necessary. Express it to other people, and to God as well.

To memorize: Colossians 3:15
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.

Yes, it is good to express thanks sincerely and in appreciation of actions done to those who deserve it. And Who deserves the most if not our Lord Jesus? What He Did and how worthless we are...

To add on to Venetia's list:
'sia sia ni'
'gracias'
'danke schon'
'merci'
'ng koi sai'

Dont be one of the "ungrateful nine" by taking God for granted.
Always give thanks... and make your joy complete.

Errrrr thanks, Ven, but wat was so funnneee???

Wonderful comments and additions, Stan. Yeah, dont be the nine.... be THE ONE!!! Yeaaahhhh....

One year in my early teens, an aunt from USA sent all her nieces and nephews a US$1 for their birthday. In the entire year, I was the only one who wrote to her to say thanks.... I never forgot her encouragement to me, and her disappointment with the others. Today, we might not want to write thank you cards and post them, but the sms and email is not far away. Doesnt take that much time either.... so peeps, as the saying goes, Let's
JUST DO IT
