God helps His children

Today's word: Exodus 4:10-15

10 Moses said to the LORD, "O Lord, I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue."

11 The LORD said to him, "Who gave man his mouth? Who makes him deaf or mute? Who gives him sight or makes him blind? Is it not I, the LORD ? 12 Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say."

13 But Moses said, "O Lord, please send someone else to do it."

14 Then the LORD's anger burned against Moses and he said, "What about your brother, Aaron the Levite? I know he can speak well. He is already on his way to meet you, and his heart will be glad when he sees you. 15 You shall speak to him and put words in his mouth; I will help both of you speak and will teach you what to do.

How about you?
Does it make you nervous to have to talk in front of a group of people? It's true that some people are just naturally more shy than others. But it will help if you are honest about your nervousness and if you stop worrying about what others will think of you. Pick a subject about which you feel strongly, and use the opportunity as a witness to God's help and power. If He wants y0u to speak, either privately of publicly, He will help you find the right words to say.

To memorize: Exodus 4:12
Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.

We should always be prepared to tell about the great works of the Lord and the blessings that we have received. It is natural to be nervous during testimony time but we must learn to share so that others are encouraged and also to glorify God and His goodness.

Pray for the Holy Spirit's help so that all of us can testify from time to time. Instead of being shy, let us be proud instead that our heavenly Father is truly awesome!

Most people arent comfortable about talking in front of a group of people. Many wont have opportunity to do so either...

But "Gossipping about God" is something we should all do, whether in a large group or small group, or even on a one-to-one. Out of the heart, the mouth speaks. Even the most timind and shy, will speak from the deposit of the heart. Let's look at what we have in our hearts, and then start from there. The Lord assures us that when we open our mouths, He will fill.... we just need to be His willing vessels, and then He uses us as His oracles.

First time is always hardest.... don't be discouraged with any mistakes because as the saying goes, practice makes perfect! :-)
