Trust God in all things

Today's word: Psalm 18:30-32

30 As for God, his way is perfect;
the word of the LORD is flawless.
He is a shield
for all who take refuge in him.

31 For who is God besides the LORD ?
And who is the Rock except our God?

32 It is God who arms me with strength
and makes my way perfect.

How about you?
Have you ever been in a situation that seemed to keep getting worse and worse? Perhaps you've even prayed about it, but God didn't seem to answer. Maybe He was using this situation in your life in a way you never realised. Keep trusting God. Thank Him even if you are going through a hard time.

To memorize: Psalm 18:32
It is God who arms me with strength
and makes my way perfect.

Worse and worse situation?

Went to get passports done for all the children and myself. Time limit very tight for many reasons... long story.... Lousy start cos we couldnt go in the morning cos of classes. Then when afternoon came, we had a long delay due to various reasons. By the time we got to the Passport office, we had to queue to even get a number. Ended up with four numbers! Then we waited to be called. Thank the Lord the wait wasnt too bad, but Justin was getting feverish again. The officer was kind enough to process us all together. But then another hitch - Justin was born in England and I didnt have any proof of him entering the country legally. They wanted the ORIGINAL PASSPORT that he came in on - like 16 years ago la!! Asked the lady why the NRIC wouldnt do. She said that was internal and this was an international passport we wanted. DUH..... Compromised and said ok. We'll copy the original and get it all to her before 4.30pm so that the passports can all be done. Rushed like mad woman to do this. BUT COULDNT find THE passport!!!! Looked everywhere...
even went to Michael's office...
no joy...
no sign of it...
looked so many places...
time passed and 4.30 came and went...
Thoughts like
"What???? Justin can't have an international passport???"
"Rediculous to not accept the NRIC"
"I wouldnt have thrown them away!"
Prayed. Prayed. Prayed....
Found the passport in the end, missing the deadline.
What did I learn from this?
Actually, EVEN BEFORE leaving for the Passport Office, the thought came to mind, "Why not take all the old passports along too?"
But in my rush, did I listen???? No, I thought I knew best! The organiser/administrator in me thought she had all the bases covered....
Moral of the story ....
TAKE TIME TO PAUSE AND LISTEN NO MATTER HOW BUSY
TAKE TIME TO PAUSE AND LISTEN ESPECIALLY WHEN BUSY

We learn 2 morals from one blunder. Not bad.

Gone thru such helpless situation. Still waiting to see what is God trying to teach/tell.

ooooo Ven that one! kekekeke... shhhh....
As for Daniel and Jessica, both Sabahans la. Otherwise pengsan o my...
But after the blunder today, I became more conscious about talking with God and LISTENING to Him. Check my blog....
