All God sends is good

Today's word: Ephesians 5:18-21

18Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit. 19Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, 20always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

21Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.

How about you?
Do you think it would be nice to play all the time and never work? Just as there are many kinds of spices- hot, sweet, bitter, and fragrant- that lend their special touch to foods, God send you many kinds of experiences to make your life rich. He knows just what good times and hard times you need to help you live life at its best.

To memorize: Ephesians 5:21
Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ

...

i choosed the alternative though the other alternative is better.

Hi there Bob,
I think this is one of your earliest devotional blog at 8.18am.

Just wanted to express our thanks to you for doing such a good job to feed us with daily spiritual bread. What you are doing is being
appreciated and help to bring encouragement to have our walk with the Lord. Keep up the great work and God bless.

Yes, as the saying goes, "there is no joy without sorrow, no peace without pain". Without experiencing
hardships, we will not know how to appreciate the good things that comes our way through the blessings
of our heavenly Father. How would we know the comfort of Jesus if we do not what it is to be "weary and heavy laden"?

Indeed, out of reverence for Christ, we should be caring and uphold each other as members of God's family. "Those that sows kindness gathers love".

Let us be thankful always for the great works that the Lord has done. Hallelujah. It is a joy to sing praises to our Redeemer!

wow.. 8.18 am?

All God sends is good, even at 8.18am!

Hey Bob, what does it say when the comments are about the hour of the day of posting! Talk about submitting to one another eh! Hehehehe!

On another note, RICH experiences include even those which we detest as we go through them!

oh yes, whatever that may happen to us, there is always something good that can come out of it. In other words, whatever that God does, He knows best what is good for us. Of course, sometimes we may not realise it until much later
but it is there!
